Tell the Time Co. offers secure Australia-wide shipping and appointment-based collection from our Sydney showroom.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy, and Privacy Policy.

1. Order Processing

All watches are released only after full payment has been received and cleared.

Before dispatch or collection, we may request additional information to verify:

  • The purchaser’s identity
  • The payment method
  • The billing or delivery address
  • The person authorised to collect the watch
  • Any other information reasonably required for fraud prevention or transaction security

Orders may be delayed while payment or identity verification is completed.

2. Australia-Wide Shipping

We offer shipping within Australia where available.

Shipping arrangements may vary depending on:

  • The value of the watch
  • The delivery location
  • Courier availability
  • Insurance availability
  • The payment method used
  • Security and fraud-verification requirements

Shipping fees and any available insurance options will be confirmed before dispatch.

3. Insured Shipping

Where insured shipping is offered and selected, the level of cover will be confirmed before dispatch.

Insurance may be provided through the courier, a third-party insurer or another approved delivery arrangement.

Customers must provide a complete and secure delivery address. We may decline to ship to:

  • Parcel lockers
  • PO boxes
  • Freight-forwarding addresses
  • Hotels or temporary accommodation
  • Addresses that cannot be verified
  • Any location we reasonably consider unsuitable for a high-value delivery

We may require the delivery address to match the verified purchaser’s billing or identification details.

4. Delivery Requirements

High-value deliveries may require:

  • Signature on delivery
  • Photo identification
  • Delivery to the named purchaser
  • Delivery to an authorised adult
  • Collection from a courier depot
  • Additional verification before release

The customer is responsible for ensuring that an authorised person is available to receive the delivery.

A delivery is considered complete once the watch has been delivered to the verified address, collected from the courier, or accepted by the customer’s authorised representative.

5. Tracking and Delivery Updates

Where available, tracking information will be provided after dispatch.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by:

  • Courier delays
  • Weather events
  • Public holidays
  • Remote delivery locations
  • Security checks
  • Incorrect or incomplete address details
  • Events outside our reasonable control

Tell the Time Co. is not responsible for courier delays outside our control, but we will assist with reasonable delivery enquiries and claims.

6. Incorrect Delivery Details

Customers are responsible for checking that all delivery information is correct before dispatch.

Tell the Time Co. is not responsible for delays, redirection fees or unsuccessful delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery details may not be able to be changed.

Any approved redirection, re-delivery or return-to-sender costs may be charged to the customer unless the issue was caused by Tell the Time Co.

7. Damage or Loss in Transit

Customers should inspect the parcel and watch promptly after delivery.

If the parcel appears damaged, tampered with or incomplete, please:

  • Photograph the parcel before opening it
  • Keep all packaging and shipping materials
  • Photograph or record the opening where practical
  • Contact Tell the Time Co. as soon as possible

For visible transit damage, please notify us within 48 hours where reasonably possible.

We may request photographs, videos, packaging, delivery records and other supporting information to assist with a courier or insurance claim.

Any rights available under Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.

8. Showroom Collection

Collection is available by appointment from Tell the Time Co., Suite 10.14/185 Elizabeth Street, Sydney NSW 2000.

Appointments must be confirmed before arrival.

We may require the purchaser to provide:

  • Photo identification
  • Proof of purchase
  • Order or invoice details
  • Payment verification
  • Any other information reasonably required to confirm identity and authority to collect

The watch will only be released once all required checks have been completed.

9. Collection by Another Person

If someone else is collecting the watch on your behalf, you must notify us in writing before the appointment.

We may require:

  • The full name of the authorised collector
  • Their photo identification
  • Written authority from the purchaser
  • Confirmation from the purchaser before release
  • A copy of the purchaser’s identification where reasonably necessary

Tell the Time Co. may decline to release the watch if we cannot verify the collector’s authority.

10. Missed Appointments and Uncollected Orders

If you cannot attend a scheduled collection, please contact us to arrange another appointment.

Watches will not be left unattended, released outside an agreed appointment, or provided to an unidentified person.

If an order remains uncollected for an extended period, we may contact you to arrange collection, shipping or another reasonable solution.

Any storage, delivery or administrative costs will be discussed with you before being charged.

11. International Shipping

International shipping is not automatically available and must be approved by Tell the Time Co. before purchase.

Where international shipping is agreed:

  • Additional delivery, insurance and handling fees may apply
  • The customer is responsible for import duties, taxes, customs charges and local fees
  • Delivery timeframes may be affected by customs processing
  • Additional identification and payment verification may be required
  • Some destinations may be excluded due to insurance, courier or security limitations

International delivery terms will be confirmed in writing before dispatch.

12. Returns and Warranty Shipping

Shipping for returns, warranty claims and defective-item assessments is governed by our Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy.

Customers must not return a watch without first contacting Tell the Time Co. and receiving return instructions.

All returned watches must be securely packaged and sent using the agreed delivery method.
